Jessica Willingham is The Weekly editor at Five South and a staff reader at The Masters Review. She is an alumna of Lighthouse Writers Workshop Book Project 2019-2021 in Denver, Colorado.

Her work appears in Five South, Hare’s Paw Literary Journal, Hell is Real: A Midwest Gothic Anthology, Identity Theory, The Institutionalized Review, Roi Faineant, Still: The Journal, Superfroot, Thought Erotic, and Variant Literature, among others.

Her prose has been nominated for Sundress Publications’ Best of The Net 2023 and 2024. Her work appears in Wigleaf’s Top 50 Short Fictions Longlist 2024 and received a nomination for Best Micro Fictions 2025.

She lives in Oklahoma.
